KlariVis Names Marcos Souza Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Elevates Guy DeCorte to Chief AI Officer
Two dedicated C-suite roles signal the next phase of the company’s data and AI strategy
ROANOKE, Va., July 09, 2026 — KlariVis, the data intelligence platform built for financial institutions, today announced two senior leadership moves designed to accelerate the company’s data and AI roadmap. Marcos Souza has joined the company as Chief Data & Analytics Officer, and Guy DeCorte has been elevated to Chief AI Officer, a newly created role.
Souza will lead KlariVis’ data strategy and research capabilities, building the anonymized, cross-institutional intelligence layer that will give community banks access to the kind of data-driven insights that have historically been available only to the largest financial institutions. DeCorte, who has served as Chief Data & AI Officer, will now focus exclusively on advancing the company’s AI product strategy, including natural language analytics and agentic capabilities across the platform.
“We’ve been building toward this for a long time,” said Kim Snyder, CEO and Founder of KlariVis. “We have more than 150 financial institutions on our platform, and what we can see in the aggregate across their data is something no single bank can see on its own. Marcos has spent his career building exactly this kind of intelligence at the largest institutions in the world. Guy has been the architect of our AI capabilities from the inside. Now each of them has a dedicated mandate to go deeper.”
Souza brings more than 25 years of enterprise data and AI experience spanning SAS Institute, Bank of America, Sprint, Ally Bank, and Churchill Finance. At Bank of America, his team used the bank’s concentrated deposit and transaction data to produce a snapshot of the U.S. economy a full year before the Census Bureau published the same picture. He has funded large-scale data and AI transformation programs delivering more than $30 million in measurable ROI and has engaged directly with the Federal Reserve Board on data and analytics strategy. He is also a co-founder and board member of PropertyCapital.AI, an AI-powered commercial real estate lending platform.
“At Bank of America, we proved that transaction and deposit data provides one of earliest signals of changes in the economy,” said Souza. “Rather than waiting for quarterly or annual government reports, we could observe economic trends as they emerged, enabling more accurate forecasts and faster decisions. That capability has never existed for community banks. What we’re building at KlariVis will give a $5 billion bank the same quality of insight that a $2 trillion bank takes for granted.”
Souza holds dual Executive MBAs from Cornell University and Queen’s University (Kingston), a Master of Science in Data Mining, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Both Souza and DeCorte will be taking the stage at the KlariVis Data & AI Institute C-Suite Summit later this fall. More information on the event can be found here.
