Meet Chris Muracco: KlariVis’ new VP of Client Experience

Chris Muracco by Chris Muracco Mar 20, 2025

From boardrooms to backroads, my career has always been about solving problems and finding better, more efficient ways to do things. As KlariVis’ new VP of Client Experience, I’ve been entrusted with helping our banks do the same thing with the power of their data behind them.

Banking is moving at an incredible pace, and I’m excited to be part of a team that’s helping lead that change for the better. Here’s a bit more about how I got my start in banking, how I ended up at KlariVis, and what I can’t wait to accomplish in my new role.

An Accidental Banker

I grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania (before Michael Scott arrived), went to Penn State for undergrad, and later earned my MBA at Marywood University. Like most bankers, I never set out to specifically work at a financial institution (and definitely not a technology company!). But when I landed my first role at FNCB Bank (now part of Peoples Security Bank & Trust, a KlariVis client) I quickly experienced firsthand how community banking doesn’t revolve around numbers — it centers around people.

We say it all the time, but local banks truly are the cornerstones of their communities. They’re the ones to approve newlyweds’ first mortgage, provide capital to a business owner, raise money for their school districts, and donate to local nonprofits. It often goes unnoticed, but the impact and the overall good that community banks create is a huge part of the reason why I stayed in the profession for so long.

After FNCB, I worked for five other institutions, eventually ending up at FVCbank, which is where I was first introduced to KlariVis.

A Big, Bold Idea

I’ll never forget it: Kim Snyder (KlariVis’ founder and CEO) and Jerry Bradley (Chief Product Officer) walked in with this big, bold idea of how to make data accessible throughout the bank. They didn’t just come in with a solution to our problem: They came in with a way to completely revolutionize how every employee at the bank could use data to further our goals.

Right from the start, I was hooked.

FVCbank was an early adopter of KlariVis. But even as a new user, everything I was viewing and interacting with felt familiar. I was seeing data the bank always had, just translated a different way. I was in the platform every single day, using those data insights to help make strategic decisions to grow the bank and advance my own career instead of spending that time to write my own reports.

Fast forward to today, and I’ve gone from being a KlariVis client and internal advocate to a KlariVis team member. It’s a full circle moment, and I’m confident I’m exactly where I should be, helping other banks experience the same transformation we had all those years ago.

Why KlariVis is Different

A huge part of my role in customer success is simply talking with banks, listening to their challenges, and showing them what’s possible with the KlariVis platform. I love the fact that I get to travel and connect with so many bankers in person and watch them unlock their data in real time. KlariVis is dedicated to reaching all banks, but what’s special is that we’re constantly interacting with banks even after implementation. We want them to experience the full power of the KlariVis platform — we know that doesn’t happen overnight, and we’re willing to spend the time to see it through for everyone.

Our team is driven by collaboration, innovation, and a passion for helping banks thrive. It’s not just about selling a product—it’s about building partnerships that truly make a difference.

Looking Ahead: The Future is Data-Driven

The future of banking is all about smarter, faster decisions — and data is the key. My focus is ensuring our clients not only see the value of KlariVis but experience tangible improvements in their operations and strategy. Banking can be complex, but with the right insights, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

I’m especially excited about what’s ahead in my new role: enhancing our clients’ experience, expanding our solutions, and helping more banks integrate data-driven decision-making into their culture. We’ve already had phenomenal feedback from clients over our Transactional Intelligence launch, and there’s still so much in store to bring to the table.

Ultimately, my goal is to position KlariVis as the go-to solution for banks across the country looking to thrive in a data-driven world. There’s so much potential here, and I’m eager to help realize it — for our clients, our team, and the industry as a whole.

Banking on Change

I’ve mentioned this a couple of times throughout the piece, but, again, banking is changing. I’ve spoken with too many institutions that hesitate because the fear of change outweighs the fear of staying the same. In my opinion, standing still is no longer an option.

I look back at my own journey and can say with confidence that change is what brought the most fruitful opportunities to my life. Becoming a banker, joining KlariVis, even starting a blog (you can check out Banking on Data here)…all I had to be was curious and open about learning more.

If you’re also passionate about data, banking, or just making things work better, let’s connect. I’d love to hear your story and where you’re hoping it leads.
